Description:
Chemical Process, Project Engineer, Organic Chemical, Process, Project. We are seeking a Process/Project Engineer for a chemical processing plant in the Madison, WI area. This area has award-winning schools and teachers, exceptional quality of life, and has been named "One of the Best Places to live in America". The Process/Project Engineer will be responsible for improving existing processes, introducing new processes, performing project engineering activities, and support plant operations. Duties include:
• Promoting safety in all aspects of operations and a productive work environment;
• Promoting the production of products that meet or exceed customer expectations;
• Executing activities to implement new chemical-processing and materials-handling processes, and improvements to the plant processes and operating procedures;
• Supporting Sales & Marketing activities, which may require occasional overnight travel;
• Managing the change process for assignments.

Qualifications:
Education: 4-year degree required in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Required skills:
• 5+ years of process and project engineering experience;
• Strong process engineering background;
• Must have chemical experience, organic preferred;
• Must have two or more years experience interfacing with contractors;
• Polymer background with experience in Batch Processing environment;
• Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Additional education in Project Management;
• AutoCAD, MS Project, PowerPoint, pipeline-sizing program;
• Good presentation skills.
