Organic chemical, synthesis, polymers, chemical regulations, EHS permits, titles permit. We are seeking an EHS Manager for a chemical processing plant in the Madison, WI area. The EHS Manager will be responsible for administering programs, policies, and procedures directed at ensuring regulatory compliance at the facility. Duties include:
• Facilitating inspections and record keeping for compliance with required permits;
• Assisting with reviewing and tracking action items of incident investigations;
• Assisting the Health & Safety Manager with performing periodic job safety analyses, audits, emergency drills, training needs;
• Managing all mandatory training;
• Managing the department staff;
• Upholding the ‘Standards of Excellence’ through commitment to both internal and external customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Education: 4-year degree required; Engineering, Chemistry or Natural Sciences preferred.
Required skills:
• 5+ years of process experience;
• Organic chemical, synthesis, polymers experience;
• Experience with chemical regulations and EHS permits;
• Familiar with titles permit;
• Supervisory experience;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• The ability to facilitate employee and manager group meetings;
• The ability to conduct group training;
• Computer literate.
